The Daubert Criteria

As the Judge (Gatekeeper), you must ensure scientific testimony meets these 5 standards:

1. Tested? Has the technique been empirically tested?
2. Peer Review? Has it been published and reviewed by other scientists?
3. Error Rate? Is there a known potential error rate? Is it acceptable?
4. Standards? Are there standards (like SWGDE) controlling the technique's operation?
5. General Acceptance? Is it generally accepted within the relevant scientific community?
